Another hot month has come and gone! Although we had to fight the heat each day the crappie and bass kept us entertained while making memories. Like previous months, the crappie were biting in brushpiles in 12ft-22ft. Livebait and jigs were both productive, however livebait dominated when it came to most bites. The bass continued to concentrate on points, humps and ledges. Plastic worms, crankbaits, large spoons, and topwater. The upper end of the lake was the most successful us as we followed schools of bait.
