The water temperature is finally in the 60’s and the water is almost half a foot below summer pool. The bass have been active on most days in 1ft-4ft around boulder rocks up-lake. Squarebill crankbaits in shad pattern, whopper ploppers, rattle traps, spooks, and white Hoppy’s buzzbaits have been productive. The crappie fishing has been awesome the last 2 weeks! Jigs and live minnows have been successful around brushpiles in 10ft-14ft. We have been catching near 20-30 keepers on 6 and 8 hour trips! From now until winter the fishing will continue to turn on. Bass and crappie will be chasing bait to fatten up for winter. DON’T WAIT TO BOOK YOUR TRIP! FALL WON’T LAST LONG. BCGS Premium Reports is the best fishing resource around!
