The water temperature is still in the lower 70’s, but the bass have been active in 2ft-5ft around boulder rocks mid and up-lake. Squarebill crankbaits in shad pattern, rattle traps, and black buzzbaits. The crappie are on fire throughout the lake! Live minnows have been the ticket around brushpiles in 10ft-14ft. There have been a few tough days, but on average we have been catching 15-40 keepers! From now until December fishing will turn on. Bass and crappie will be chasing bait to fatten up for winter.
