The water temperature is finally in the upper 60’s to low 70’s and the water is almost 2ft below summer pool. The bass have been active on most days shallow in 2ft-5ft around boulder rocks mid and up-lake. Squarebill crankbaits in shad pattern, rattle traps, jerkbaits, spooks, and black Hoppy’s buzzbaits have been productive. The crappie fishing has been fair throughout the lake. Jigs have been successful around brushpiles in 10ft-14ft. From now until December fishing will turn on. Bass and crappie will be chasing bait to fatten up for winter. DON’T WAIT TO BOOK YOUR TRIP!
