May 23rd, 2019 – Percy Priest

Fishing has been great on Percy Priest Lake! The water temperature is in near 80 and the bass are active in their summer patterns! Most of the bigger bass have moved out into their post spawn patter in 8ft-12ft. Soft plastic crawfish, crankbaits, jigs, shaky heads, and swimbaits have been productive lures on humps and ledges. Each day this week the crappie have been biting better! The warmer temperatures are finally forcing them into deep brushpiles! Pearl Crappie Magnets fished on a 1/8oz jig and live minnows fished 2-3ft off the bottom have been the ticket! Yesterday we caught over 40 crappie, including 25 keepers! Now is the time to book your FATHERS DAY trip!!! Show your father how much you appreciate him by taking him fishing!!! Pontoon trips with families and friends have been filling up the calendar! Reserve your group trip today at www.briancarper.com/pontoon.html Lastly, if you would like to receive my 100% detailed fishing reports on where BCGS catches their fish, what they’re catching them on, and patterns that are effective, sign up for my Premium Reports here!
