May fishing is heating up!!! Recently the bass, crappie, and hybrids have been consistent with an occasional tough day. The bass have been biting on topwater lures, crankbaits, spinnerbaits and soft plastics in 2-8ft. However, we are starting to see several bass conjugating on humps and points in 10-16ft! The crappie have been biting good in brushpiles in 10-18ft. Live bait has been the ticket 2-3ft off the bottom. As the weather continues to heat up the crappie will become more active as they recover from the spawn. Lastly, the hybrid have been on FIRE!!! Almost every trip has been successful with between 30-100 fish! Now is the time to book your hybrid trip! BCGS Premium Reports is the best fishing resource around!
