“The water level is still 3ft below summer pool and the fish have been biting! The water temperature ranges between 69-72 degrees. The bass are finishing up their spawn. Some big girls are still being caught shallow, but the deeper bite has started to turn on. Drops, ledges and humps in 4ft-12ft have been successful areas. The most productive shallow baits have been Texas rig plastic crawfish, worms, and topwater plugs! The crappie are finishing up their spawn as well, however we are still seeing a lot of crappie with eggs. The crappie are being caught shallow on stake beds and deep (12ft-18ft) brushpiles! Both live minnows and Crappie Magnets have been producing! One trip last week we caught 38 keepers in 3 hours!!!
