March is wrapping up and the crappie are still coming in hot!!! We are catching crappie shallow in spawning coves and creeks in addition to mid and down lake in the main channel in 30ft-55ft. The bass seem to be a couple weeks behind although the water temperature is perfect. I think the in consistent weather and water levels are contributors. Nevertheless, we are catching bass in shallow creeks and windy coves with topwater lures, crankbaits, and rattle traps! The calendar is filling up faster than EVER BEFORE!
