The last 4 weeks the crappie have been on FIRE! We have been catching hundreds of slabs in 2ft-5ft on jigs and minnows around stumps and isolated wood. The spawn has been in full swing and is now halfway through! The bass were shallow as well. We caught many quality bass in 1ft-5ft on topwater lures and rattle traps. Like the crappie, the bass will continue to stay shallow for a couple more weeks around shallow wood, boulders, and gravel.
