June fishing is turning on! The bass have been biting well with topwater lures in the early morning and in the afternoon, soft plastics in 8-14ft. Texas rig plum ribbon tail worms and green pumpkin stick baits have been the best producers for us! The crappie have been biting good in brushpiles in 10-18ft. Live bait has been the ticket 2-3ft off the bottom. As the weather continues to heat up the crappie will become more active as they recover from the spawn. Lastly, the hybrid and white bass have been starting to school on the surface in the early morning and evenings! Topwater baits, small white jigs, and spoons have been productive.
