July fishing has started off with a bang!!! The bass have been biting topwater lures, soft plastic red worms, and spinnerbaits in 2-8ft. In addition to the shallow bite there are several deeper points that are holding schools of bass in 10-16ft! Most days the crappie have been biting in 10-18ft brushpiles. Live bait has been the ticket 2-3ft off the bottom. It appears the bite further down the lake has been more consistent. Lastly, the hybrid have been on FIRE!!!
