January Fishing Report

January was full of rain, snow and cold temperatures! I believe the lake made it down to winter pool(6ft below summer pool) once for a few days before another rain cell moved in. The lake rose and lowered five times since then! In addition to the rain we were able to experience a couple beautiful snow storms! People call me crazy, but I ventured out on several of these days and the fishing was GREAT! We caught the majority of our bass on the Alabama Rig in clear water around points and humps. The crappie have been consistently active in 15ft-30ft and being caught on Crappie Magnet jigs!
