“The last few weeks the weather has been up and down, but I guess that is normal for Tennessee. The water temperature has been 43-58 degrees depending on where you are on the lake. The crappie have been biting VERY well on the upper end of the lake and the bass have been chomping surface plugs! March is my favorite month to crappie and bass fish! The majority of the fish are in 1ft-5ft, fat, and full of eggs for the spawn. Crappie Magnets get the job done while casting into 4ft-8ft and topwater lures are my favorite for the big bass!
