August Fishing Report

August offered some fantastic crappie, bass, and hybrid trips! The crappie were holding in 12ft-22ft in brushpiles and being caught on live minnows while the bass were still aggressive in their summer patterns. Humps, ledges and points produced quality bass with Texas Rig plum worms and deep crankbaits! The early morning hybrid bite was on and off. Several mornings the topwater action was action was unreal with poppers, whooper ploppers, and spooks!
