August 8th, 2018 – Percy Priest

August is here and the heat has definitely been cooking! The mornings and afternoons have been the most productive for bass, white bass, hybrids, and crappie. During these low light hours the temperature is cooler and the fish are feeding! The crappie are still holding in brushpiles. Crappie Magnets and live minnows have been the most productive in 12ft-22ft mid-lake. The bass have been biting on green pumpkin plastic craws fished on 3/16oz Hoppy’s jig, shaky heads with Zoom trick worms, swimbaits, and spoons in 8ft-16ft of water. There is also topwater action in the morning and evenings…..so don’t wait! Call today to book your trip! 615-801-2408 Lastly, BCGS P1 and P2 pontoon boats have been knocking out family trips and group trips! Come spend the day with us catching fish in comfort!!!!!
