August 7th, 2016 – Percy Priest

August is here and the heat is peaking! The mornings and afternoons have been the most productive for bass and crappie. During these low light hours the temperature is cooler and the fish are feeding! The crappie are still holding in brushpiles. Crappie Magnets and live minnows have been productive in 12ft-20ft. The bass have been biting on plastic worms fished on Texas rigs, shaky heads, and swing heads in 8ft-16ft of water. There is also action shallow around the grass early in the morning with buzzbaits, rattle traps, and plastic worms…..so don’t wait, call today to book your trip! 615-801-2408.
