August 21st, 2016 – Percy Priest

Anytime the temperatures are in the 80’s in August I’m happy! Thankfully, the bass have been enjoying the cooler temperatures too! The last seven days the some bass have been caught on ledges in 10ft-12ft off the main channel. Swing head jigs, shaky heads, and deep crankbaits have produced several nice keepers! There are also schools of bass migrating into shallow water near the bank. With longer nights and the water temperature low in the low 80’s, frogs, jigs, spooks, and shaky heads have been producing quality bass!
