The last 7 days has been great! Largemouths have been schooling from early morning to late evening on points, ledges, and humps, in 8ft-15ft! Whooper ploppers, Alabama rigs, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and plastic worms have been producing! The crappie have been biting in 11ft-21ft in brushpiles with minnows and Crappie Magnets. TN shad Magnets have been productive colors when fished on a 1/8oz jig head.
We have also had several fun night trips recently! Black and pink Hoppy’s spinnerbaits(3/4oz or 1/2oz) in addition to plum ribbontail worms have been the ticket in 6ft-12ft on points. The hybrid have been feeding in the early mornings as well! Topwater lures reeled in a few giant hybrids last week! Now is a great time book your pontoon trip!
