The last 7 days has been great! The cooler temperatures have helped the afternoon bass bite. Largemouths have been schooling from early morning to late evening on points, ledges and humps in 8ft-15ft! Whopper Ploppers, Alabama rigs, crankbaits, spinnerbaits and plastic worms have been producing well! The crappie have been biting in 11ft-17ft in brushpiles with minnows and Crappie Magnets. Purple/pink and grey/silver have been productive colors when fished on a 1/8oz jig head. We have also had several fun night trips recently! Black and pink Hoppy’s spinnerbaits (3/4oz or 1/2oz) in addition to plum ribbontail worms have been the ticket in 6ft-12ft on points. The hybrid have been feeding in the early mornings as well! Topwater lures reeled in a few giant hybrids last week! Now is a great time book your pontoon trip! Come out and fish under the shade and with your family!
