The last week on Percy Priest has been great! The water temperature has climbed into the upper 60’s throughout the entire lake and the fish have moved shallow. The crappie have moved shallow to spawn and biting on jigs and minnows on floats in 3ft-12ft! There is just something about watching that bobber descend beneath the surface that will never get old! The bass can be caught on several different patterns. Up lake, where the water is warmer, bass are being caught in 1ft-4ft of water on crankbaits, spinnerbaits, rattle traps and soft plastics. Down lake, where the water is a little cooler, bass are being caught on TN-rigs, jigs, soft plastics and crankbaits in 4ft-8ft. Also, BCGS’s pontoon boat is up and running!
