Although we had tons of wind, April was a good month for BCGS! The crappie moved up shallow at the beginning of April and we were able to catch stringers of crappie from two to five feet of water. At the same time, the bass moved up shallow and we were catching large quality and quantities of bass in one to five feet on topwater lures, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. As the water temperature warmed up throughout the month, the fish started moving out. April is always one of the best months of the year and it did not disappoint this year.
