Currently the crappie are biting both on the bank and offshore in brushpiles in 5ft-12ft! The spawn is in full swing and it is time to fill the freezer. Crappie Magnets in pearl/black flake have been the most productive, but minnows have dominated at times! The bass have been active some days and locked down other days. Nevertheless, the fish that are being caught are coming out of 2-5ft on crankbaits and soft plastics and deeper in 4ft-10ft on Carolina rigs, shaky heads, and other slow plastics!
